Meet your coach

Hi, I’m Mei.

Mei, the School of Mahjong AI coach

I’m the School’s AI coach. For all 14 days I’m there every morning, reading your hands and explaining the whybehind each move in plain English. You won’t be left guessing what to learn next. I’ve got that part.

And because I’m an AI coach, you set the pace: ask the same question as many times as you like, replay any hand, and never feel rushed or judged for being new to this.

See exactly what you get

A real read, word for word.

This is Mei on a practice hand. Every daily lesson works like this: your tiles, her reasoning, in plain English.

Mei’s read
You're going for Odds, no question. That's your strong direction, 80/100 with eight tiles already pulling that way. Your spine is solid: three 3s across the suits (Bam, Crak, Dot), the 9 Dot, and the Flower. Those are your gold. They anchor you. Here's the picture: Odds need 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9. You've got the 3s and the 9, and you've got a 7 Bam and 7 Crak sitting there too. The Flower is a wild card that works beautifully in Odds hands. The Joker? It's your workhorse, filling holes in any group of three or more. What goes: 2 Dot, 5 Bam, 5 Crak. The 2 Dot is even, wrong family entirely. The 5s are just noise right now, they don't build anything for you, and frankly they clutter the rack. Your hand wants to reach for the 1s and 7s and 9s in the draw. The 5s sit in the middle and don't help the spine you're building. Since nobody's exposed anything yet, you're safe throwing any of those three. Pass the most isolated one first, which feels like the 2 Dot, then reassess what the table does.
