The Wall Count

Read the tiles left in the wall as a clock: how many draws are still yours, whether your hand can still finish, and whether a pair can still be made.

What this lesson covers

Level two, lesson 2 of 2, about 8 minutes, with 5 graded steps where you make the call and the coach explains what a stronger answer would have been.

After the lesson comes a practice set of 24 questions dealt for its skill, eight at a time, each answer counted out and explained.

Where it sits

Level two comes after the ten lessons of level one, which teach the rules from the first tile. It is for players who know them and want to make better choices at the table. Its hands come from the School Card, our own practice card and the one the game uses.

It follows level two, lesson 1, Jokers Choose Your Hand, Count how far your rack is from a hand the way a joker counts it, and see the same tiles point to a different hand once jokers sit beside them.
