A Consecutive Numbers hand is built from runs of numbers in sequence within a suit, such as a stretch from three to seven, arranged into the pungs, kongs and pairs the card asks for.
How to recognise it in a deal
The deal shows it as a cluster of neighbouring numbers in one suit with few gaps. If you can lay four or five tiles in a row from one suit, count that first, because a run can start from more than one place, which leaves you somewhere to go when a draw misses.
