Definition
Consecutive Run is the section of the card built from numbers in sequence, such as runs of four or five tiles climbing in one or more suits.
A deal with several neighbouring numbers can suit this section, because a run can start from more than one place.

A run can start from more than one place, so a broken sequence may still have more than one way to complete. The mistake is committing to a specific run too early, when the same four tiles could serve a run starting a number lower. Count the span you hold, not the exact line.
