What is a 2468 in American Mahjong?

Definition

2468 is the section of the card built entirely from the even numbers two, four, six and eight, often with dragons or flowers alongside.

A deal heavy in evens with no odd numbers is pointing here. Because only four numbers qualify, pairs and pungs of them come up more often than a first count suggests.
